software platform developed by Soft Blue, Inc. to create individualized
learning-pace based systems.
Soft Blue
is an educational software development firm that
creates learning programs geared towards the general education
market (PreK-12), consumers and at risk populations (culturally,
financially, and/or educationally). We sell our products to
school systems, distributors and through single point of sale
transactions (retail).
One of the most challenging objectives for
school systems and parents of at risk populations is how to
effectively raise test scores and retention levels of knowledge
among this demographic group. Educational software has been
proven to raise test scores and increase learner retention
of material for all students, regardless of race, gender or
economic status.
Scores are further increased by software
usage that mimics language, physical gestures, and verbal
cues of these populations. Knowledge is retained easier when
it comes from familiar sources. Software that performs this
function has an overwhelming advantage for at risk populations
than software that do not.
The No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 addresses
to some degree the issues that affect Soft Blue’s educational
market. We are committed in providing educational supplemental
materials that enhance math and reading skills using technology
tied to traditional learning concepts.
